As part of our procedural improvement programme to ensure that CRBS is providing the best service to organisations enrolled with us, we have looked at the training calendar for 2012.
We will continue to provide free training in Jubilee House, Stirling as these premises are easily accessible by trian, bus or by car. There is a high demand for these courses in Stirling.
To improve our service, we are also considering taking our training further afield and are looking for organisations to host either full day or half day training sessions in various major locations throughout Scotland.
This would be a good opportunity to reach out to organisations in your area who may not know of their requirement to carry out Disclosure checks, particularly those organisations working with protected adults. Our training needs analysis would ensure that we are providing training relevant to the needs of groups in your area.
If you are in a position to faclitate and publicize training for organisations in your area, CRBS would be willing to attend, with the only cost to your organisation being for travel expenses, which you could recoup my making a nominal charge for the training.
We also presently provide bespoke training for organisations wishing a more customized training package.
