When can my organisation submit a standard disclosure record?
Standard disclosures can be accessed for the following positions:
Any employment concerned with provision of a Care Service
- A Care Service is one which is registered and regulated by the Care Inspectorate formerly known as the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland (SCSWIS) and also the Care Commission
Any employment or work which is concerned with the provision of health services and which is such a kind as to enable the holder to have access to persons in receipt of such services in the course of that persons normal duties.
- This includes organisations that are registered and regulated by Healthcare and Improvement Scotland (HIS), which includes Independent Health Care Services. Organisations offering services similiar to a Health Service or services within a NHS service can also be included in the above definition
