Information on Registering

In order to access disclosures voluntary organisation need to enrol with CRBS. Further details of the enrolment process can be viewed in the PDF document

Organisations wishing to enrol with the CRBS should submit their details to the CRBS by downloading and completing the Enrolment Form.

Part of the registration process will require organisations to comply with the Scottish Executive Code of Practice copies are available from the CRBS.

Fast Track Registration

CRBS now offers a 'Fast Track' registration procedure.  Prospective Collators/Lead Signatories can complete registration with CRBS over the telephone with the assistance of a member of CRBS staff.  CRBS can also provide all policies required for registration.

These will be returned to the prospective Collator/Lead Signatory along with the CRBS Form 1 Registration Application Form and a Disclosure Application Form, (if working in a childcare and/or adult at risk position) to:

  • Check the registration forms for accuracy
  • Sign and date the registration forms
  • Return the registration forms
  • Agree with and return required policies
  • Provide organisation structure and funding details.
