- Title of the position.
- Purpose of the position within the context of the organisation.
- Range of tasks to be carried out.
- Commitment required in terms of time.
- Location of the opportunity.
- Relationship between volunteers and any paid staff.
- Beneficiaries of the voluntary work (the groups that the volunteer
will work with).
- Support and accountability including who will supervise the volunteer;
who the volunteer will be accountable to and what training will be
necessary and available.
- Recognition of the volunteer within the organisation.
- Expectations on the volunteer in terms of initiative, independence
and team work.
- Level of Disclosure check required for the position.
