of Children (Scotland) Act 2003
This guidance and training pack was commissioned by the Scottish Executive in order to offer support to the voluntary sector in equipping themselves to meet the requirements of the new Protection of Children (Scotland) Act 2003 which commenced January 2005.
The consortium which creating this pack, Children in Scotland, Central Registered Body in Scotland, Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations, Volunteer Development Scotland and YouthLink Scotland hope that the material will be useful to a wide range of organisations either as a self standing pack or to supplement their own material.
