All disclosures are applied for on the same Disclosure Application Form. If you are registered with CRBS, copies can be requested direct.

Multiple Cover Sheet

Multiple Cover Sheets are available from CRBS to all organisations as an aid to minimise paperwork. The utilisation of the Multiple Cover Sheet is also more efficient and cost effective. It enables organisations to send in multiple Disclosure Applications with the details of the applicants listed on the Multiple Cover Sheet.

The Signatory will complete the Multiple Cover Sheet with the same information that they are asked for on a single Blue Cover Sheet.

Costs

The CRBS is the only source of free disclosures for volunteers in the voluntary sector in Scotland. Voluntary organisations will also be able to request disclosures for paid staff via the CRBS, but there will be a charge of £20 per disclosure.

Organisations can still register with Disclosure Scotland, but they will be charged for each disclosure and for registration (Registration fee is £150 plus £10 per additional counter signatory.)

Childcare Positions and Adults at Risk positions (Old style forms only)

For organisations who wish to access an Enhanced Disclosure for a Chidcare position must insert 'childcare' and then the position applied for into section C2 of the Disclosure Application form.

For Organisations who wish to access an Enhanced Disclosure for an Adults at Risk position must insert 'AAR' and then the position applied for into section C2 of the Disclosure Application form.
