Compliance InformationThe Code of Practice was published by Scottish Ministers under Section 122(1) of the Police Act 1997 to provide guidance for organisations registered to access the disclosure scheme under Part V of the Police Act 1997. The information provided in this section has been developed to help organisations that are either in the process of registering or are already registered with CRBS. It has been developed to help ensure full understanding of the requirements of the Ministerial Code of Practice, which in turn will lead to full compliance. All organisations accessing Disclosure Checks, and therefore all organisations registered with CRBS, must comply with the Police Act 1997. The Code of Practice provides guidance on how compliance can be achieved. MinutesClick on the link below to find the minutes from the PVG Guidance Advisory Group Meetings.
