CRBS are keen to explore ways in which we can enhance, develop and deliver our training programme through the use of web technology.
There are numerous advantages in using this technology, including:
- it avoids the need for travel, saving time and expense for those attending
- it makes it easy for organisations to have several people trained at once
- it provides easier access to training for those who cannot attend training within office hours
We are planning to use a software package called Dimdim to develop and deliver and enhance our current training options.
This software provides the following facilities:
- The trainer’s face can be seen on screen and his/her voice heard by the participants
- A Powerpoint presentation will be shown on the screen, just like a “live” presentation
- There is a “chat” facility, which enables participants to ask questions and to receive answers
In general, sessions will last no more than 90 minutes. The presenter will then be available for another 30 minutes to answer questions or get involved in discussions.
If you would like more information on Dimdim or to would like to view a demo, please go to the following link
