What is an Intermediary Body?
It is an organisation that is enrolled with the CRBS and is able to access disclosure records for other not for profit voluntary sector organisations.

Why should I use an Intermediary Body?
If you are a small organisation and do not wish your disclosure records to be returned to you directly
If you cannot store your disclosure records properly (as per the Code of Practice)

Where can I find out more about Intermediary Bodies?

Can my organisation be an Intermediary Body?
Yes, if your organisation is enrolled with CRBS you can apply to become an Intermediary Body. Simply complete our Intermediary Body application form and return to CRBS.
